VELD 2020

Dear VELD Fest Family,

You are what makes our festival possible. But right now, we all know that the safest place to be is at home. While we’d love nothing more than to put this behind us and return in August, after careful thought and with the guidance of local government and health officials, we have postponed this year’s VELD Music Festival and rescheduled for July 31st and August 1st, 2021 at Downsview Park.

This year has gone different than any of us could have expected. While we face uncertain times, the one thing we are certain of is the safety and wellbeing of you, our guests, the artists, vendors, staff, and local community. It truly takes a village to make VELD happen and we are grateful that we can return next year for our 10th anniversary with an unbeatable new lineup that fans expect and deserve from us.

For VELD Loyalty Members who keep their ticket, we will transfer your purchased ticket to next year’s festival and provide a $40 credit for food and beverage, exclusive merchandise onsite and send you limited edition merchandise memorabilia. By transferring your ticket, you will automatically enter contests to win a side stage viewing experience, a backstage tour, artist meet and greets, a chance to be featured in our 2021 after movie, and be offered front of the line access to the best priced pre-sale tickets for VELD 2022.

For those who would like to obtain a refund, you can request your refund beginning Friday, May 29th at 12:00AM. All refund requests must be submitted by Friday, June 12th at 11:59PM EST. After this time, all orders will be transferred to VELD Music Festival 2021. All fans will receive an email from VELD’s official ticketing provider, Front Gate Tickets, with instructions on how to request a refund. All refunds will be issued in as little as 30 days from when the request window closes. For those with payment plans, payments will stop completely, and you can manage your payments for the 2021 festival with an extended grace period or request a refund. By continuing your payment plan, you too will become a VELD Loyalty Member and automatically enter the contests listed above.

We did not want to make this announcement, but your health and wellbeing will always be our number one priority, and we thank you for your patience. We will be back next year and we will be ready to host one hell of a festival.

From our VELD family to yours, wishing you love and wellness.
