FESTIVAL GUIDE
The 11th annual Veld Music Festival, presented by INK Entertainment, Canada’s leading lifestyle and entertainment company, will heat up the summer music lineup from Friday August 1st to Sunday August 3rd at Downsview Park in Toronto. Spanning across three days with over 50 internationally acclaimed Dance Music acts, this year’s Festival showcases some of the most revered names in the music industry. Prepare for Veld!
Veld Music Festival is CASHLESS. Only credit and debit cards will be accepted methods of payment – Please ensure tap is enabled on your cards. Limited pre-paid Visas are available for purchase with cash, as well, however we recommend purchasing a pre-paid Visa ahead of time. You CANNOT load or connect your wristband to a credit card for purchases. Your wristband must be registered in order to enter the festival.

WHAT CAN I BRING?
- Government issued photo identification
Plastic water bottles and CamelBaks (with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment) – EMPTY upon entry - Cell phones
- Fanny packs
- Sunglasses & hats
- Cream-based sunscreen ~ subject to a security check
- Sticks of hard deodorant
- Toiletry wipes
- Lighters and factory sealed packs of cigarettes and factory sealed disposable e-cigarettes
- Earplugs
- Powder makeup and factory sealed tampons
- Sealed packs of gum
- Physician-prescribed medication that is not expired and only enough for use on the day. The label on the bottle must include the following: your name (matching your photo ID), name of the medication, directions to use, date prescription was filled. Medicines will be reviewed upon entry.
- Flags/banners or handmade signs (no metal or wood flag poles)
- Non-professional flash/still cameras, handheld video devices under 6″
- Empty water guns
- Inflatable Beach balls
- Factory sealed glow-sticks
- Glowing/illuminated costumes or jewelry
- Sealed lip balm
- Hula-Hoops
- Poi Balls
- Dragon Ribbons
- Flow Wands
- Glow Whips
- Totems using poles made with pool noodles or pvc
- Outside food of any kind (If you have dietary restrictions and need to bring in food, it must be accompanied by a physician’s letter and identified to the medical personnel at the front gate, marketed on the VELD map. This must not exceed a day’s worth of meals)
- Over-the-counter medication (available from a first aid station) Illegal drugs and substances, including unmarked liquid or pill medication bottles.
- Prescription medicine in its original, unexpired and unadulterated container, in the name matching individual’s government-issued photo identification may be allowed in the Venue. Unmarked liquid or pill medication bottles are not permitted.
- Weapons of any kind
- Pepper spray and mace
- E-cigs or vapes that have refillable liquid chambers
- Selfie sticks including GoPro poles
- Skateboards and rollerblades, hover-boards, scooters, bicycles, and other personal motorized and non-motorized vehicles
- Culturally insensitive attire or deliberately offensive clothing/costumes (subject to the scrutiny of door staff)
- Full body morph/spandex suits that cover the head
- Masks that are restrictive (breathing) or fully cover the face
- Non-cream-based and liquid/spray sunscreen (aerosol)
- Drug paraphernalia (including vaporizers)
- Pacifiers
- Laser pointers (or similar devices)
- Eye drops (available at first aid stations)
- Liquid makeup or unsealed tampons (upon entry)
- Glass, cans, cups or coolers
- Noise making devices
- Fireworks, fire-starters, and open flames
- Markers, pens or spray paint
- Large chains or spiked jewelry
- Unauthorized solicitation or marketing materials (e.g., handbills or flyers)
- Tents, large umbrellas, chairs or blankets
- Oversized purses, bags, duffel bags or backpacks
- Any bag or soft-sided container, with or without handles or carrying straps, larger than 12” x 6” x 12” (30cm x 15cm x 30cm) (or exceeding 864 cubic inches/13,500 cubic centimetres of total volume).
- Open packs of cigarettes (upon entry)
- Outside beverages (including alcohol, cans and bottles)
- Professional photo, video, or audio recording equipment (SLR/DSLR cameras) – No detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms or commercial-use rigs
- All unapproved unmanned aerial systems (UAS) or drones
- Animals not authorized under the Provincial Emotion Support Animal, guide dog or service animal laws (Documentation from a regulated health professional is required)
- Massagers
- Stuffed animals or dolls
- Frisbees
- Any item deemed to be dangerous by the Venue General Manager or Law Enforcement Officers
WILL THERE BE LOCKER RENTALS ON SITE?
Both single-day and weekend locker rentals are available for Veld 2025.
Locker details:
- Internally equipped with a universal phone charger, so whether you’ve got an iPhone or an Android, you can juice up safely and come back for it without missing a beat.
- Measures approximately 8 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 18 inches deep — plenty of space for backpacks or purses.
- Rentals are good for single-day or full weekend use.
- You may leave items overnight with your weekend locker!
And here’s a pro tip: Lockers make a great meeting point for you and your crew.

CANNABIS REGULATIONS
Only cannabis products purchased LEGALLY may be brought into Veld Music Festival. They must be SEALED IN OCS PACKAGING OR FROM OTHER OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT OWNED SOURCES. Any cannabis products that do not abide by these rules will not be permitted or accepted into festival grounds.
Individuals may carry enough FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY. Patrons in possession of cannabis are required to notify security at point of search. Cannabis can only be consumed in the DESIGNATED CONSUMPTION AREA. You must be 19 years or older to enter this area. Please refer to the Veld Site Map for the designated location.
NO SALE OF CANNABIS IS AUTHORIZED ON SITE. PLEASE CONSUME RESPONSIBLY AND DON’T DRIVE HIGH.

FAQ
Our doors open at 2PM each day of the festival.
If you purchased tickets after the festival shipping deadline, you can pick them up from the festival box office directly in front of the main gates. The box office opens at 1PM daily.
Security Screening
All guests entering the event are subject to a comprehensive security check similar to airport procedures. This may include emptying your pockets and bags, inspecting all belongings, undergoing a physical pat-down, and possibly removing your shoes. Entry may be denied at our discretion.
Bag Policy
To ensure a safe and smooth entry process, large bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the venue. We encourage guests to use clear bags to help speed up the screening process. All bags will be searched upon arrival. Approved bags include:
- Clear plastic bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”
- Small clutch-style bags (maximum size: 6” x 9”), with or without straps
- One-gallon clear freezer bags (e.g. Ziploc)
- Medically necessary bags, which will be screened at the gate
- NON-CLEAR (and clear) small clutch bags not exceeding 6″ x 9″ with or without handle or carrying straps are permitted
Backpacks of any kind are strictly prohibited.
If not sold out, you may purchase tickets directly from the festival box office located at the main gates starting at 1PM daily.
The show ends at 11PM each day of the festival.
Wristband orders aren’t processed the moment you purchase your ticket, nor are they delivered in order of purchase. There are multiple factors involved.
If you haven’t received your wristband or tracking info, it’s simply because it hasn’t been shipped yet. The final date to purchase a ticket and have it received by mail is July 22nd.
There are no in and out privileges for VELD Music Festival. Once you leave each day you will not be permitted re-entry.

No, you cannot load, or connect your wristband to a credit card for purchases. Your wristband must be registered in order to enter the festival.

If you plan on bringing naloxone kits to the music festival, please ensure they are factory sealed and identify yourself to security at the front gates.
For patrons who have a lost/missing item, please email INFO@INKENTERTAINMENT.COM with a detailed description and/or photo of the item. Our staff will be in touch whether the item has been found and where you can pick it up.
There is always a chance that the event will sell out, in which case no more tickets will be sold. So get your tickets now — we want to make sure you don’t miss out!
The best way to avoid ticket fraud is to buy directly from Front Gate Tickets. DO NOT purchase from scalpers or from websites like Kijiji and within the comment sections of social media. If you arrive at the venue with an illegitimate ticket, you will be turned away, and no refund will be provided.
Tickets are limited to eight (8) per person.
Major Credit Cards (American Express, Visa, MasterCard), PayPal and Visa Debit are the only methods accepted.
